Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording method, etc., capable of performing highly reliable scrambling without bringing about correlation by a recording position by using a plurality of random sequences obtained by converting a prescribed M sequence. SOLUTION: In a DVD recorder, a data frame generating part 1 converts inputted user data into a frame, a scramble circuit 2 performs scrambling using the M sequence, an ECC block constructing part 3 subsequently constructs an ECC block, and an RLL(run length limited code) (1, 7) modulating part 4 performs RLL modulation to generate record data. In the scramble circuit 2, an M sequence generation circuit 21 generates a preliminarily set M sequence, a conversion circuit 22 selectively converts the M sequence into a different random sequence on the basis of the recording position information of a disk, and an EXOR circuit scrambles input data by exclusive-ORing the input data and the converted random sequence to realize scramble in which the correlation of tracks adjacent to each other on the disk is small and which has high reliability. |
