Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion generating device enabled to blow of the ion from a nozzle with simple structure, disusing any propulsive force added to the ion from outside like the wind. SOLUTION: In relation to a needle electrode 1 generating ion by corona discharge in the air and a ground electrode 2, the ground electrode is arranged so as to surround an imaginary extension line M which is an extension of the axis of the needle electrode 1. A part of outer periphery of the ground electrode 2, shaped so as to surround the circumference of the imaginary extension line M, surrounding the circumference of the imaginary extension line M, is made open to form an open part 6.
