Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cogeneration system enabling miniaturization of facilities and stabilizing the temperature of a heat medium while allowing a fuel cell to stably generate. SOLUTION: The cogeneration system includes a fuel cell generating apparatus having a fuel cell 10; a refrigerant circulation passage 2 through which refrigerant for cooling the fuel cell 10 circulates; an exhaust heat exchanger 1 receiving heat to the passage 2 from the refrigerant passed through the fuel cell 10; a heat medium passage 14 through which a heat medium passing through the heat exchanger 1 and receiving the heat from the refrigerant passes; and a means using the heat medium as a heating medium. The system also includes a temperature sensor 3 for measuring the temperature of the refrigerant near the outlet of the fuel cell 10, a means for varying the flow of the refrigerant into the fuel cell 10 according to the temperature data measured with the temperature sensor 3, and a means for varying the flow rate of the heat medium through the heat exchanger 1 according to the flow rate of the refrigerant.
