PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for recovering liquid crystal panel glass by which a glass substrate of a defective product generated in a manufacturing process of a liquid crystal panel and of a waste liquid crystal panel discharged from a liquid crystal display device abandoned in a market can easily and economically be recovered and reused. SOLUTION: The recovering method of the liquid crystal panel glass is distinguished by exfoliating the liquid crystal panel glass by immersing the liquid crystal panel in a liquid and irradiating the panel with microwave under heating and pressure. Further, the recovering device of the liquid crystal panel glass is distinguished by having a liquid crystal panel immersing bath for immersing the liquid crystal panel in the liquid and a microwave irradiation device for irradiating the liquid crystal panel in the liquid crystal panel immersing bath with microwave under heating and pressure.
