Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mass support device for an accelerometer, capable of suppressing output in a direction other than of axial sensitivity (maximum sensitivity). SOLUTION: Since gaskets 16, with elasticity installed in grooves 15 provided at equal positions from a mass center of gravity, are crushed between a mass 12 and an accelerometer casing 11, pressure is generated at all times. By the structure providing the gaskets 16, rotational vibration of the mass 12 caused by a subtle unbalance in the mass 12 which has been a problem in prior art can be suppressed by the reaction force of the gaskets 16.
