Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce thermally insulating hydrous gel-containing fireproof glass provided with pipes filled with gas in the hydrous gel of a gel-containing fireproof glass body filled with the gel within the spaces of double-glazing unit-like structure. SOLUTION: The gel-containing fireproof glass body filled with the hydrous gel is provided with the pipes filled with gas within the hydrous gel. The pipes are internally filled with at least one gas among dry air, argon, krypton, xenon and SF6. Further, the pressure of the gas packed in the tubes is regulated to <=10 Pa.
