Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garage disposer having a discharge chamber structure that can smoothly lead garbage to a discharge passageway without stagnating it near an opening communicating with the passageway. SOLUTION: The garbage disposer grinds garbage introduced thereinto through the top feed port and discharges it and comprises a casing 3 and a crushing means encased therein and comprising a rotary disc, a swing hammer, etc. A discharge chamber 9 is provided at the bottom of the casing 3, and the inside wall of the chamber 9 is provided with an opening communicating with a discharge passageway 10. By making the projection toward the chamber 9 larger at the rear B2 of the brim of the opening 9 than at its front B1, the garbage conveyed in the direction D shown by the arrow collides against the surface 33a of the step in the rear B2 and is then led to the passageway 10.
