Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dial for a solar cell, capable of preventing a solar cell positioned under the dial from being seen through the dial, causing the drive of the solar cell, allowed to be designed similarly to the ordinary metallic dial, capable of remarkably varying design including patterns having high class impression, texture and color tone, and having good appearance quality and a good commercial property. SOLUTION: The dial for the solar cell is formed by a light transmitting base plate and an opaque layer having an opening, the solar cell can be prevented from being seen through the dial for the solar cell, and the opening shaped like a hour indicating figure has light transmittance enough for at least causing power generation of the solar cell housed under the dial.
