Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator wherein even when foods are places at a rear portion in the refrigerator, a vent hole is prevented from being clogged, and hence ventilation of cold air casn be kept satisfactory. SOLUTION: There are provided on a back side of a refrigerator chamber 2 a vaporizer 5 for producing cold air, an air fan 6 for sending the cold air produced from the vaporizer 5, and a duct cover 2a for forming a duct 9 extending from a back side of the refrigerator chamber 2 to an upper surface side. There is further provided a cold air blow-off outlet 7 at a front end on an upper surface side of the duct cover 2a, which outlet is opened toward a front surface upper portion of a door side of the refrigerator chamber 2. The refrigerator chamber 2 is defined into a plurality of spaces with multiple stages with shelves 4, and a cold air suction inlet 8 is formed in the duct cover 2a located on the back side of the refrigerator chamber 2, and further the cold air suction inlet 8 is displaced behind the shelves 4.
