Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provided a bimetal thermostat capable of setting both ON and OFF temperatures at optional temperatures with high accuracy. SOLUTION: A thermostat 10 is so structured that the first bimetal thermostat 11 set at an optional ON temperature with high accuracy and the second bimetal thermostat 12 set at an optional OFF temperature with high accuracy are connected in series, the OFF temperature of the first bimetal thermostat 11 is set higher than the OFF temperature of the second bimetal thermostat 12, and the ON temperature of the second bimetal thermostat 12 is set lower than the ON temperature of the first bimetal thermostat 11.
