Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-bacterial agent having a broad anti-bacterial spec trum, harmless to human body and environment, stable and exhibiting anti-bacte rial activity only when irradiated by light. SOLUTION: This stable photosensitizing anti-bacterial agent containing α-terthienyl(α-T) skeleton is obtained by synthesizing an α-T monomer having α-T skeleton and further polymerizing it.
