Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain proper images, without degrading the images, even under various kinds of photographing conditions. SOLUTION: When performing exposing operation for inputting an optical image to an imaging device and converting the optical image into an electrical signal by the imaging device to generate a video signal, a video signal generation means repeats the exposure operation set for a prescribed time plural times to generate plural video signals and adds the generated plural video signals to generate a final video signal. By varying the number of read times of the imaging device during once exposing operation, driving of the imaging device optimal to various kinds of photographing modes, such as consecutive photographing, long photographing, etc., can be carried out.
