Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL element and an organic EL display panel using the organic EL element having high productivity and improved durability, which, while preventing adsorbing of moisture and an organic solvent component, can prevent effectively emitting of moisture and the organic solvent component by being gasify, and is equipped with a passivation layer excellent in adhesion nature with the organic layer for flattening. SOLUTION: The organic EL elements consists of a substrate 1, at least one passivation layer 4, and electrodes 5, 8. And, the above passivation layer 4 contains nitride silicone. The organic EL display panel has two or more organic EL elements, which have the above compositions.
