Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for processing of a silver halide photographic sensitive material which prevents the generation of a scum even though the capacity of a water rinse vessel is small and without replenishment of rinsing water. SOLUTION: The method for processing of the silver halide photographic sensitive material has the following characteristics i.e., to be processed by a fixing agent containing at least one of the compounds represented in formula (1), the capacity of rinsing water is 0.5 liters or more and 5 liters or less, and to be processed without replenishing rinsing water. Formula (1) R-SxOyM [wherein, R is represented by an aliphatic group, an aromatic group or a heterocyclic group, X is 1 or 2, Y is 2-8, and M is a cation].
