PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless packet relay method which can transmit a packet via a plurality of wireless stations and by which transmission delay can be reduced and throughput can be improved. SOLUTION: When a packet is transmitted from a wireless station WT to a wireless station WR via wireless stations WR1, WR2,..., and WRn in this order, the wireless station WT transmits a reservation request packet to the wireless station WR1. If the predetermined conditions agree with the states of the wireless station WR1, the wireless station WR1 transmits 'a packet which functions as a reservation complete packet for the transmission origin wireless station WT and functions as a reservation request packet for the transmission destination wireless station WR2'. The wireless station WT receiving the reservation complete packet transmits a data packet to the wireless station WR1. The wireless station WR2 receiving the reservation request packet from the wireless station WR1, if the predetermined conditions agree with the states of the wireless station WR2, transmits immediately 'a packet which functions as a reservation complete packet for the transmission origin wireless station WR1 and functions as a reservation request packet for the transmission destination wireless station WR3'.
