PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejection pump and a trigger lock instrument wherein the pulling action of the trigger is restricted and a wide use of the pump can be achieved. SOLUTION: A cylindrical part 25 of a stopper 24 is fitted on a cap 16 beforehand. When the liquid ejection pump 10 is not in use, a stopper piece 26 is directed to a trigger 20 so as to restrict the pulling action of the trigger 20. That is, a conventional manner in which a stopper is placed over a nozzle head is not employed, but the stopper 24 is mounted to a cap 16 beforehand and then the stopper piece 26 is brought into contact with the trigger 20 to restrict the pulling action of the trigger 20, whereby a wide use of the stopper 24 can be achieved. As a result, since the stopper 24 is not restricted by the structure of a pump body 14 (nozzle head 18, trigger 20, etc.), the pump body 14 in the pump (type of machine or the like) 10 can be selected more freely.
