Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Japanese style Fusuma (sliding door) by utilizing the advantages of the conventional fusuma and a light-weight fusuma, thereby providing the fusuma which can be mass-produced, while using a real Japanese style fusuma core which permits the replacement of fusuma paper, after disassembling the rail and stile assembly. SOLUTION: The core member 20 is made by arranging midribs 25, having a plurality of stiles 25a and rails 25b assembled to a grid shape inside a wooden frame formed to square patterns; a chip board 11a is adhered to the front and read surfaces as a lining paper 11 as the Japanese style fusuma cores which can be mass produced with a machine; an edge member 30 is an mass-produced aluminum edge member made, by adhering a pattern layer equivalent to a prescribed surface of the extruded and molded member for the aluminum edge member 30, this edge member 30 being formed in a freely fittable or removable manner; and the edge member is formed with upper and lower rails and right and left stiles and the height of the right and left stiles can be adjusted, as required.
