Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain an equivalent property with that obtained by the use of an organic silicon compound which is advantageous for the property of a silica- filled rubber, without releasing undesired ethanol. SOLUTION: This rubber composition is characterized by uniformly mixing (i) 100 pts.wt. at least 1 kind of elastomer containing an olefinic unsaturation, and (ii) 1-150 phr trivalent phosphorus compound-silica compounded material, and the trivalent phosphorus compound is a phosphite compound of the formula (1) or a phosphine compound of the formula (2). |
