Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a light entering surface 91a of a pointer body 91 is mirror-finished in the conventional constitution, so that when an element having directivity, such as light-emitting diode is applied to a light emitting element 94, the directivity exerts influence directly on light emission of the pointer body 91, and irregularities are generated in the luminance of the pointer body 91. SOLUTION: In this pointer 1 for a meter, an end surface 2a of the pointer body 91 which a light from a light emitting element 5 enters is almost circular in shape, and recessed curved surface 2d is formed in the center. Further, a fine uneven surface 2e is formed in the outer peripheral part of the curved surface 2d, and thereby luminance irregularities of the pointer body are eliminated.
