Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for applying certain service quality (QoS) to the data stream of an application for communicating data through socket connection. SOLUTION: This method has a step in which a uniquely recognizable identifier (UID and stream type) is given to applications (31 to 33) and data streams (31, 32 and 33) from or to the applications, and a step in which the identifier is made to correspond to a certain specified QoS in order to apply the specified QoS to the applications or the data streams. The applications or the data streams are specified by the identifier.
