Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-quality and high-reliability liquid crystal display device which is made small-sized and low-cost and eliminates or reduces generation of crosstalk. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal panel constituted by arranging a scanning-side substrate where scanning electrodes are arrayed and a signal-side substrate where signal electrodes are arrayed opposite each other across STN liquid crystal is provided with a scanning-side driver IC and a signal-side driver IC; and (n) pieces of external data signals are inputted to (n) pieces of signal electrodes and divided into n×m pieces, terminals for external signal input are formed on the signal-side driver IC corresponding to the number of divisions, and terminals for signal electrode connection corresponding to the respective terminals for external signal input are formed. Further, (m) pieces of terminals for signal electrode connection are made common to one signal electrode so that the data signals which are divided into n×m pieces are inputted to the (n) pieces of signal electrodes. |
