PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a central management apparatus that prevents a system operation from being started with erroneous channel definition information. SOLUTION: The central management apparatus that manages a time division multiplex network is provided with a path information generating section that generates path information including a path management number of each path interconnecting connecting points to which a time slot in a communication unit is assigned, the number of assigned time slots, termination information with respect to the connecting points, and group identifiers, a time slot assignment section that generates the time slot assignment information including the path management number of a path using a time slot by each time slot of each connecting point, a path information check section that discriminate the correctness of the paths on the basis of the path information as to a path information group comprising a plurality of paths whose group identifiers are the same, and a result display section that displays the determination result of the correctness of the path.
