PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide detailed reservation relating information with a simple method. SOLUTION: A customer inputs data with the data inputting means 11 of a user terminal in requesting the providing of reservation relating information. A converting means 12 converting the data into a structured document by an XML, and a transmitting means 13 transmits the structured document to an information provider terminal 20. The receiving means 21 of the terminal 20 receives the structured document, and an analyzing means 22 analyzes the structured document and recognizes contents shown by a tag as the inputted data. A retrieval key preparing means 23 stores the contents shown by the tag in a retrieval table, and a database retrieving means 16 retrieves a database 30 with the contents shown by the tag as a key. A document preparing means 24 converts answer data obtained by retrieval into a structured document with the XML to prepare an answer sentence and also reads format information from the database 30. A transmitting means 25 transmits the answer sentence and the format information to a user terminal 10. When the terminal 10 receives the answer sentence and the format information, a displaying means 15 displays the answer sentence with the format information on the screen.
