SOLUTION: This camera possesses a slide barrier 11 movable between a position at which it covers a photographing lens 7 and a position at which it is withdrawn from the front face of the photographing lens 7, and the slide barrier 11 is provided with first to fourth can followers, and the depths of first cam grooves 2a and 4a and second cam grooves 2c and 4c correspond to the lengths of second cam followers 13 and 15, and the depths of third cam grooves 2b and 4b and fourth cam grooves 2d and 4d correspond to the lengths of first can followers 12 and 14 so that the slide barrier 11 is smoothly opened and closed.
