Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the manufacturing method of a gas compressor to increase the performance of the gas compressor using a twin magnetic circuit type linear motor. SOLUTION: A first part and a secondary part of a coil are arranged in a first space and a secondary space respectively. A magnetic flux is generated in the opposite direction with each other in the first and secondary spaces. At first, a stroke design value of a piston is determined. When the piston is displaced by the stroke design value to the secondary space, an end of the first part of the coil at the secondary space does not enter the secondary space, and also when the piston is kept away from a boundary of the first and secondary spaces by not less than the first distance and displaced into the first space by the stroke design value, the coil is arranged so that an end of the secondary part of the coil at the first space does not enter the first space and be kept away from the boundary of the first and secondary spaces by not less than the first distance.
