Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a highly realiable connection by using an anode wire and an anode lead during manufacture of a solid electrolytic capacitor. SOLUTION: In the manufacture of a solid electrolytic capacitor, when an anode wire 2 formed in a capacitor 1 is connected with an anode lead 3 for external connection of a lead frame 8, an ultrasonic wave is just given to the wire 2 and lead 3 immediately before welding in a state where they are pressurized in contact with each other, thereby removing an oxidized layer or impurities on the contact surface of the anode wire with the anode lead and impurities on the contact surface of the anode lead with the anode wire. Therefore, the anode wire 2 and anode lead 3 are in contact with each other on intrinsic surfaces 2b and 3b, and stable electric welding can be conducted thereon.
