Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique applicable to preparing of various kinds of functional materials, by which dendrimers at a size of nanometer aggregate on a substrate to a regulated shape. SOLUTION: This method of making the dendrimers consists in forming the dotty dendrimers of the nanometer size on the substrate by developing a solution prepared by dissolving the dendrimers in a solvent in a manner as to eliminate electrostatic interaction in the form of a thin film on the substrate, then evaporating the solvent at a high velocity. In a more preferable embodiment, the dendrimer solution is dropped onto the substrate arranged perpendicularly on a solvent absorber and is developed on the substrate and immediately thereafter, inert gas is blown to the substrate, by which the solution is evaporated.
