Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reducing the pressure drop of a bag filter without the increase of a cost. SOLUTION: In a waste gas treating system 2 for treating waste gas discharged from a waste incinerator 1, the bag filter 3 for collecting dust singly in the system and forming a filtering layer on the surface of the filter is arranged. At least one of dust collected by the filter 3 and dust discharged from a boiler 4 or a gas cooling tower 5 installed at the prestage of the gab filter is taken out to the outside of the gas treating system temporarily and the taken out dust is blown into the entrance part of the filter 3 as a porous powder material contributing to the improvement of the air-permeability and peeling characteristics of the filtering layer.
