Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier bag for cooked food allowing a user to carry a pot or plate with hot food on it easily and safely and store it in a pocked or a bag when not used by folding it up small. SOLUTION: The carrier bag comprises a bottom cloth 1 cut in the shape of a square or circle, an upper wrapping cloth 3 whose outer shape is the same as that of the bottom cloth, a tying string 4, and hand straps 6. The upper wrapping cloth 3 has an opening rim part 7 cut off nearly in the shape of a circle at the center and an opening adjusting part 8 cut from the opening rim toward the periphery. The tying string 4 is inserted into a cylindrical string inserting part 5 formed in the opening rim part of the upper wrapping cloth for shortening the diameter of the opening rim part. The hand straps 6 are sewn to the center part and outer edge part of the bottom cloth as two parallel straps at symmetrical positions apart from the center with the same distance in opposite directions to be conformed to the upper wrapping cloth.
