Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a damage of swelled part for the purpose of preventing water permeation by adhering to an electric wire inside a wire insertion hole of a waterproof rubber stopper, from a damage due to the contact with a terminal which is created when a terminal passes through the hole at the time of mounting the electric wire. SOLUTION: For example, the inner diameter of a swelled part is gradually reduced along the direction of terminal insertion, by the above, when the terminal is made to pass through an electric wire insertion hole 3, as the inner diameter of the swelled part 11a, to which the terminal contacts in the first place, becomes biggest, the swelled part is hardly damaged, further, as often as the terminal passes through by forcing each swelled part 11a-11c widen, a waterproof rubber stopper deforms elastically by itself and following swelled parts are widened, and the swelled part is hardly damaged when the terminal contacts with the swelled part.
