Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower a possibility to encounter a danger as much as possible when a user has to pass through an avoidance area. SOLUTION: The car navigation system 1 comprises a position detecting means 3 that detects the present position of a vehicle, avoidance area setting means 5, 15 that set an avoidance area, a judging means 2 that judges whether the present position of the vehicle is in the area or not, a door locking device 16 that locks or unlocks the doors of the vehicle, and a door lock controlling means 10, which activates the door locking device to lock the doors when the present position of the vehicle is in the area. Thereby, the doors of the vehicle are automatically locked when the vehicle runs into the area.
