Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve developing efficiency and maintainability by omitting the useless description of a simulation program to shorten execution time and to improve calculation accuracy. SOLUTION: A program part 2 assuming continuous system processing such as the calculation of train motion, and a program part 3 assuming discrete system processing of calculating at the change time point of changing events such as signals arranged along a track, are separately described. A control program 4 executes a continuous system processing program 2 every time interval Δt and computes continuously changing data related to the train to simulate train operation. The control program 4 also monitors the state computed by the continuous system processing program 2 and executes the discrete system processing program 3 when event generating conditions are satisfied, to simulate train operation based on the discretely generated events on the train. The discrete system processing program 3 registers a new event generating condition if necessary.
