SOLUTION: The air cleaner 1 is constituted of the main body consisting of a rear panel 4 and an upper panel 2, the front panel 3 provided to the opened front of the main body in a freely detachable manner and equipped with a suction port 6, the partition plate 9 partitioning the main body into front and rear chambers and having a suction hole 9a bored in the almost central part thereof, the filter holder 13 provided to the front of the partition plate 9 and formed to a frame body having an almost C-shaped cross section not only to mount a dust collecting deodorizing filter 16 so as to hold the same between the frame body and the partitikon plate 9 but also to mount the photocatalytic deodorizing filter part on a pair of the locking parts 13b provided to the front of the frame body and the ultraviolet lamp 14 provided to the rear surface of the suction port 6.
