Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizing plate having a low dimensional change ratio and reduced in-plane dispersion of optical characteristics for display even if the polarizing plate is made thin and excellent in heating or humidification reliability, and to provide a laminated triacetyl cellulose film useful for the polarizing plate. SOLUTION: A urethane acrylate resin layer containing silica particles is applied to one surface of the triacetyl cellulose film having 40 μm thickness so that the layer after the layer is dried has 3 μm thickness and the layer is irradiated with UV to obtain the laminated triacetyl cellulose film on which a protective layer is formed and which has 0.65% elongation at break. The laminated triacetyl cellulose films are stuck to the both surfaces of a polyvinyl alcohol polarizer which is dyed with iodine and has 25 μm thickness so that the protective layers are facing on the external sides using a PVA based adhesive to obtain the polarizing plate. |
