Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant composition hardly causing sedimentation and separation of the components during the preservation, capable of being readily treated, and capable of forming a lubricating film having a low friction coefficient and a long life. SOLUTION: This lubricant composition comprises a lubricating oil, a wax, a solid lubricant and a solvent. The method for producing the lubricant composition is characterized in that the lubricating oil, the wax and the solid lubricant are mixed and kneaded, and the mixed and kneaded product is dispersed in the solvent. The lubricating film is characterized in that the lubricating film contains the lubricating oil, the wax and the solid lubricant. The sliding member has the lubricating film, and the lubricant composition is used for forming the lubricating film on the surface of the sliding member.
