Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a liquid crystal display panel clamping a liquid crystal material layer and a seal wall between substrates with uniform thickness of the liquid crystal material layer in each part, without generating damage in an electrode portion of the seal wall outer side. SOLUTION: A seal wall SL is formed in one of substrates S1 and S2 forming electrodes T1 and T2, and liquid crystal material is applied on the end of the substrate. The end parts of the both substrates are superposed by holding the seal wall and the liquid crystal material in between, and the both substrates are temporarily bonded while being clamped and pressed by a pressing roller and a supporting member, and are finally stuck together by a heating pressing roller succeedingly. A first pressurizing force release recess is formed in the pressing roller, the recess faces the substrate from a near side of a seal wall terminal part SLb, temporal bonding is not performed for the seal wall terminal part SLb, and final bonding is performed for the whole seal wall. A second pressurizing force release recess is formed in the pressing roller, a heating suppression recess is formed in the heating pressing roller, and these recesses face electrode portions T1' and T2' extended to the seal outer side to prevent the damage.
