Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the transmission delay of data that is caused in poor whether conditions, such as at rainfall for a satellite communication system. SOLUTION: This satellite communication equipment is provided with a 1st processing means which transmits the prescribed data to the opposite station via the asynchronous communication using a satellite line, in response to the connection request included in the asynchronous communication data that are sent from a terminal, a conversion means which converts the format of asynchronous communication data sent from the terminal after the connection is requested into the format of synchronous communication data and a 2nd processing means, which transmits the synchronous communication data to the opposite station via the satellite line.
