Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure forming apparatus 2 which pressures and bonds an object to be pressure formed 14 with uniform pressure at high temperature. SOLUTION: The pressure forming apparatus 2 has a pair of pressure members 8, 10, at least one of which can move toward the other, to pressure and bond the object 14 by their pressuring force. In the apparatus, a pressuring force uniforming member 12, interposed between pressure members 8 and 10, applies pressure on the object 14. The member 12 consists of a metallic plate 22 fixed to either pressure member 8 or 10, and a rubber elastic member 24 which is vulcanized and bonded to the metallic plate 22 to touch and press the object 14. The rubber member 24, whose exterior size is identical to or smaller than that of the metallic plate 22, pressure forms the object 14 with uniform pressure, because thermal expansion and deformation of the rubber member 24 is restricted by the metallic plate 22 even at high temperature.
