Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance welding reliability in the manufacture of an electro resistance-welded tube with a small diameter and a thin wall thickness using a thermally high conductive material. SOLUTION: An apparatus for manufacturing the electro resistance-welded tube comprises a traveling mechanism 1 to continuously run the plate bar stock a forming roll 10 to round the running plate bar stock T in a C-shape in cross section, an induction heating coil 14 to heat both end edges E of the plate bar stock formed in the C-shape in cross section, a pair of No.1 step squeeze roll 16 to abut both side edges E by pressing the plate bar stock T heated from both sides, and a pair of No.2 step squeeze rolls 18 to further press both edges abutted and placed in the down-stream side of No.1 step squeeze rolls. |
