Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video signal input/output device that is downsized and whose weight, power consumption and cost are reduced without losing a function of receiving/outputting a video signal of a different signal form. SOLUTION: In the case of capturing component input signals Y, R-Y, B-Y, a switch SW11 is thrown to the position of a terminal A and switches SW13, SW14 are thrown to the position of a terminal B. In the case of capturing S video input signals S-Y, S-C, switches SW10, SW12 are thrown to the position of the terminal B and the switches SW11, SW13, SW14 are thrown to the position of the terminal A. In the case of capturing a composite input signal Video, the switches SW10, SW12, SW13, SW14 are thrown to the position of the terminal A and the switch SW11 is thrown to the position of the terminal B. Common input terminals T20, T21, T22 and buffers 13, 14, 15 are shared in common in this way.
