Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a virtual channel DRAM where cell efficiency is improved, the layout area of chips is reduced and the processing speed of data is increased. SOLUTION: A normal channel register 62 and a redundant channel register 64 are connected to one local data bus 66 and one of input/output data bus connector parts 404 to 405. One input/output data bus connector part is connected to one of data bus sense amplifier units 141 to 144 and one of word line driver units 151 to 154 through one global data bus.
