Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk cartridge applicable to a large-sized head by largely protruding an information recording disk from a cartridge casing. SOLUTION: A disk protruding port 4 is provided in the end surface of the cartridge casing 3, a hub moving groove 6 which extends from the approximate center to the disk protruding port 4 side is formed in the plane of the cartridge casing 3, and a shutter 7 for opening and closing the hub moving groove 6 and a lid member 5 for opening and closing the disk protruding port 4 are provided in the cartridge casing 3. When the cartridge is used, the shutter 7 is opened and also the lid member 5 is inclined down to this side to open the disk protruding port 4, a hub 1 is chucked by a chucking mechanism of a recording/reproducing device, the cartridge casing 3 is moved, and whereby the hub 1 is relatively moved within the hub moving groove 6. Thus, the information recording disk 2 is largely protruded from the cartridge casing 3. |
