Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an irradiation method of a gamma ray capable of irradiating a limited region of an irradiation object with the gamma ray from a gamma ray source, concerning a gamma ray radiotherapy in a medical field and a gamma ray irradiation method of material in a material production field. SOLUTION: This irradiation method of the limited region with the gamma ray is characterized by guiding the gamma ray by a hollow transfer pipe having a minute diameter (in the μm-mm order) from the periphery of the gamma ray source, to enable irradiation of the limited region of the irradiation object with the gamma ray.
