Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a given fusion strength by removing if any foreign matters, such as soil, mud and dust, adhering again to a fusion region of a resin pipe after a cleaning step and mounting the resin pipe in a clean condition. SOLUTION: An electro-fusion pipe joint has a heating wire arranged about a resin pipe mounting bore portion, and connector pins to which both ends of the heating wire are connected. That portion of a resin pipe insertion-side end where no heating wire is arranged is fixedly provided with a cleaning member capable of close contact with the outside surface of a resin pipe.
