Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a compound having a strong urease inhibitory activity and an antiulcer action, an antiulcer agent containing the compound, consequently useful as a medicine capable of controlling growth of Helicobacter pylori or disinfecting, having an excellently treating action on peptic ulcer and inhibitory action on recurrence. SOLUTION: This allenecarboxylic acid derivative is represented by general formula (1) (R1 is a lower alkyl group; R2 is a hydrogen atom or a carboxyl group-protecting group) or its salt. This medicine contains the allenecarboxylic acid derivative.
