PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically notify relevant obituary. SOLUTION: This obituary distribution system 1 consists of a WWW server 11, that stores and permits viewing of an obituary distribution registering page for inputting e-mail address of a person who wishes distribution 2 and a key work, an obituary information input page for inputting information on the deceased, when a funeral information providing person 3 obtains the obituary, and the like; a server 12 that stores information inputted on an obituary distribution registering page; and a mail server 13. This system has following functions which includes a retrieval processing function that retrieves the key word corresponding to the information on the deceased from key words stored in the server 12, when information on the deceased is inputted to this system via the obituary information inputting page; and a transmission processing function that transmits distribution of obituary e-mail describing obituary contents to the person who wishes distribution 2 having the e-mail address corresponding to the key word, when the corresponding key work is obtained.
