PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric controlling device for an electric vehicle capable of guaranteeing safety accurately in the driving operations of the vehicle by discriminating an abnormal state with a small capacity computer. SOLUTION: This electric controlling device for the electric vehicle is provided with a first controller 10 that inputs signals representing the driving operations and outputs drive controlling signals to electric motors 91, 92 that drive the wheels of the vehicle, and a second controller 20 that inputs the drive controlling signals from the first controller 10 to control the supply of electric power to the electric motors 91, 92. The abnormality of the electric vehicle is detected based on the detections by a group of sensors 21, and the second controller 20 performs the processes of outputting the signals representing the detected abnormality to the first controller 10. In these processes, the second controller 20 transmits the signals in order of the higher urgency of the abnormality.
