PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an equipment management device capable of efficiently transmitting the information of plural equipments to a central management center, reducing the visiting frequency of a service man and preferentially transmitting the information of high importance/emergency to the center, an equipment management system including the management method and an equipment management method. SOLUTION: When a trouble is generated in any one of copying machines 4a to 4c, a data terminal (equipment management device) 1 transmits the management data of copying machines not generating the trouble to a computer 90 in the management center together with the trouble data. The copying machine whose management data are to be transmitted together with the trouble data is determined on the basis of a count number left up to periodical maintenance.
