Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an additive for low-quality oil dispersed fuels which allows no interaction, or the like, among surfactants, even when a magnesium compound is added, nor allows deterioration in the fuel quality such as breaking of dispersed fuels. SOLUTION: This additive for low-quality oil dispersed fuels is an additive containing a magnesium compound which is added to low-quality oil dispersed fuels, and has its pH adjusted to suit the characteristic of the dispersant or the emulsifier of the low-quality oil contained in the low-quality oil dispersed fuel. In the process for adding the additive for low-quality oil dispersed fuels containing the magnesium compound to the low-quality oil dispersed fuel, a chemical is added to adjust the pH of the additive to suit the characteristic of the dispersant or the emulsifier before adding and mixing the additive. |
