Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the quantity consumed of a highly heat-resistant insulating substance, which requires industrial waste treatment, in an electromagnetic winding of a gas-insulated electrical apparatus. SOLUTION: A body 6 of a transformer is constructed, by attaching an electromagnetic induction winding (electromagnetic winding) 1, formed by stacking a plurality of annular winding units 2 via insulators 3, 4 to an iron core 5. The body 6 of the transformer, together with SF6 gas (insulating gas), is accommodated in a tank 7, which is equipped with a cooler 8 for cooling SF6 gas, to constitute a gas-insulated transformer 11. In the electromagnetic induction winding 1, the insulators 3, positioned in a high-temperature part, is constituted of a highly heat-resistant insulating substance which is an incombustible substance, while the insulators 4, positioned in a low-temperature part, is composed of a low heat-resistant insulating substance which is a combustible substance.
